Hey everyone! Happy February, and do you know what that means?
It's NaMoPaiMo! NaMoPaiMo stands for National Model Painting Month, and was started by Jennifer Buxton (who is one of the most famous people in the model horse world. She is also known as Braymere Custom Saddlery.) This is an event that you can join in too!
All you have to do is paint a model within the month of February alongside hundreds of crafters and modellers all over the world. I decided this would be a fun thing to do, so I am painting this beauty here.
She has sat on my shelf for so long, half primed, so I thought this month might give me some inspiration to finally get on and do it!
I think she is going to be a blue-roan tobiano ( so spotted blue roan)
If that doesn't work, she'll be a dun tobiano.
It would be so cool if we could get a few members of the Crafter's Club all doing it this month, so if you're interested, pick and model and get painting! You can also officially sign up on their website in order to be in the draw to win prizes! www.namopaimo.com
Sorry for the lack of content posted over the holidays. It was good to have a bit of a break over the holidays, because when you do this kind of thing because you have deadlines to keep, it kind of takes the fun out of it. But now I'm refreshed and ready to go for a new year! You can expect to see the first newsletter of the year in your inboxes on Friday :D
I would love to see some more content from you guys in the newsletter (after all, this is about you guys not me!), so feel free to send anything and everything to me this week to: craftersclubnz@gmail.com
I also might be asking some people who have posted in the forums if I can use their post in the newsletter, so if I do, please reply quickly :)
I wish you all the best for this year, at school and with crafts. Have a great first few days back :)
